HYDERABAD: Addressing party workers and agricultural delegates, K. Chandrashekar Rao emphasized that Telangana's rapid transformation over the past decade was powered by prioritizing farming as an honorable profession rather than a subsistence struggle.
"When we assumed governance in 2014, power cuts crippled factories and fields alike. By constructing new power stations, desilting thousands of village tanks under Mission Kakatiya, and executing Kaleshwaram in record time, we made Telangana the rice bowl of the nation," KCR remarked.
Key Highlights of Address:
- Guarantee of 24/7 free power to 26 Lakh agricultural pump-sets.
- Continued demand for fair crop MSP (Minimum Support Price).
- Protection of Godavari & Krishna water allocation shares for Telangana reservoirs.
